Tractor Seats as Decor

Good Morning! It has taken me over a year to finally make the plunge to blogging.

My life is full of work, decorating, antiquing and family. I hope you enjoy my life

bits and pieces. It seems everyday my mind is racing to the different projects I want to

accomplish. Recently, I have been drawn to old farm equipment as design pieces. I 

love/addicted to Pinterest and found some very interesting ideas for these old pieces.

My first project was a wall of old tractor seats for my breezeway. This is the first place

that all visitors see when entering our home. No matter how dazzling your home

is inside, their first impression is made at this little area. I am always changing and 

tweaking this little room. 

I was sure that would be an easy task searching locally for these old seats. Boy, was I wrong! 

My family,friends and myself searched for months to find the perfect seat. I wanted them to be uniformed in size and shape, which made the search harder. I was fortunate to have 

one seat that belonged to an old piece of equipment from my Dad's farm. My plan

was to find nine seats ,give them a semi gloss shine and hang them in rows of three.

My husband, being a farmer, was interested in this project and helped with the 

mounting of the seats to our wall. Hope you love them as much as we do!
